I have had the whole set of these dishes for little over a year. I love the way they look, but do not hold up. I wash them in the dishwasher, as it clearly says they are dishwasher safe. Within 3 months, 3 of the plates had hairline cracks down the middle. I took them cracked plates back to the store where purchased and they kindly replaced them out of the display set. At this point, about half the of the dishes have cracks or chips. I am disappointed that they break so easily, and I am not hard on them. I don't even use them every day...

I use these plates all of the time. They are great for lunch, a smaller meal or a change from the usual salad plates.

We have had our Sango Nova Blue dishes for 5 years and the only time that any have broken was when we moved across the country or dropped them on the floor! The rest have been through the microwave, dishwasher and oven and haven't had a problem. They are very pretty and stack well too.

My only complaints are that they are mid-weight (not light like corelle, but not as heavy as other stoneware) and so moving them can be a hassle, and that sometimes they heat up a lot in the microwave. But I don't think that is anything specific to these dishes, just normal issues with the way they are being used.
